Here’s what we do:
We meet once a week on Zoom for 60 minutes (you can work with me from anywhere in the world this way and I have a fantastic mic!) You can meet me from your home, from your car, from the beach…I know zoom fatigue is real but it’s also a tool for connection and possibility that lets us span the globe to heal!
We start at the base, your foundation, your root chakra or Muladhara so you feel grounded, safe, secure and connected. I play the bowls that are deeply grounding, we do embodiment breath work exercises to practice during the week, we set intentions, you get a worksheet for the week ahead, you get a recording of your personalized sound bath to listen to between sessions, and I’ll send you some Reiki.
You also get me in the messaging app Voxer (FREE to download) M-F 9-5 PST to reach out to if you have questions or need support. In fact you get a month of Voxer with me when we’re done to continue to support you with mindset and remind you of your tools!

My first sound bath experience:
I have an autoimmune disease. The day I had scheduled for my sound bath I felt horrible.
I almost canceled. I did not know what to expect.
Sara met me at the beach in Malibu with her bowls, when I told her I felt awful she
was receptive and kind and interested in the bowls helping me heal, something I didn't realize was
a possibility. She explained each bowl and what they are made of
and why that is important. She told me about the different keys they are in and how that is helpful to heal different areas of my body. We talked for about 45 minutes before the sound bath.
It already felt like a healing session at that point and my pain was alleviating.
I layed down and she began playing the bowls. During the session I could tell my pain was lifting
physically and emotionally. At one point I started crying. How I would describe the experience:
transported, soothed, repaired, restored, healed, rejuvenated, connected, awakened, strengthened, and healed. I went as a skeptic, I walked away feeling the best I had in months.
.Maybe it was the ocean? The sunset? Maybe it was Sara
and her calming, attentiveness? Maybe it was the breathing techniques she taught me?

Hi, i’M sara
If you’re fearful of the unknown, (um all of us) then please get to know me a little bit.
I don’t do anything halfway. The three pillars of Soul Wave Wellness are creativity, passion, and kindness. When I say passion it could also be interchanged with obsession LOL. I am completely obsessed with sound healing, meditation and Reiki. For example, although I am not a Reiki Master (that means someone who is trained to teach Reiki) I have already studied with two Reiki Masters because I want to learn all I can. You don’t have to do this. But I want to bring everything I can to you. My first Reiki Mater has been on this path for more than 40 years and coming from her lineage is such an honor.
I’ve been on a spiritual path for over thirty years. I’ve always felt a deep love of nature, animals, and rocks ever since I was a little girl. I’m an athlete, mother, and art teacher who’s taught art since I was in college. I’ve traveled all over the world to more than 20 countries. I’ve always been curious about other cultures and exploring the Earth to get outside into nature as much as possible.
My path to sound healing and the study of energy medicine with Dr. Sue Morter started after I lost my job taking care of horses. I loved my job. My barn closed down for good and I had to sell my horse. It was a loss of community, and of dreams. I was deeply sad. My life changed seemingly overnight.
I signed up for a free Sound Healing Summit and my now teacher, Jeralyn Glass was sharing when I logged on. She shared how her son had passed away and that led her to working fully with the Crystal Alchemy Singing Bowls. She shared that the only thing that knit her heart back together were the bowls.
I thought, holy crap! If the bowls can do the unimaginable then I think I will check this out. And so I did. I bought one bowl and took a training with her. Then I bought more bowls and took more trainings, and studied with her on other platforms. I found energy medicine and breathwork with her teacher, Dr. Sue Morter. A deeper dive into my heart
When I was 23 I went around the world by myself for 8 months to places like New Zealand, Nepal and all over Europe
One of the greatest honors of my life was to swim with wild Spinner Dolphins
I believe that our earth is precious and nature is my church, that environmental change and social justice are a double helix
I deeply love horses, dogs, marine animals and am married to a marine biologist who researches the effects of climate change on coral reefs
I am a mother who found 2020 to be an extremely challenging parenting year, but that my daughter Willow is such a beautiful soul with an enormous, kind heart
I strive to live authentically and want what’s best for you
I’m from CT and NJ but was born in Manhattan and while I love the east coast for many reasons, looking at the pacific ocean feels like home
I’m a body surfer who likes to swim out to the line up with the surfers and dive under their boards when they catch a wave, because let’s face it, boards have the right of way and I enjoy my neck staying attached to my shoulders
I used to have a hobby of writing picture books
I graduated from the only public art school in the country with honors, Massachusetts College of Art
My first job out of college was teaching Ceramics
I moved to CA to work in Special Effects makeup and I did just that
I’ve collected over 1,300 pounds of trash from my local beach, 20 minutes at a time
